Dear Kununurra Touch Football Club,

Following advice from national health organisations and to assist the effort to slow and eventually stop the spread of COVID-19 the KTFC committee has decided to postpone further competition until the end of April when the status of the competition will be reassessed. Our decision is based on the rapidly changing status of the virus along with the government, health department information and their social guidelines.

Touch football provides a platform for many health and social benefits however at this stage the immediate well-being of our participants, volunteers and community is a priority. This action is consistent with other sporting organisations within our community.

We are in contact with Touch Football Western Australia and will continue to monitor the situation as it develops with relevant government and health departments. We look forward to returning to the game, in the meantime please practise good hygiene protecting yourself and others.

Kind regards

KTFA Committee, Jess Salm, Jesse Borlase, Lizzie Stanger, Christen Mijovic, Meli Angus

Matthew Frost

President Kununurra Touch Football Association
